12:23 a.m. Animal complaint at the Dorn Davies Senior Center. Caller reports that a foot-long snake is crawling around the floor. Police respond and remove snake back to nature.
12:30 a.m. Francisco Sanchez Libran, 40, of Brockton was summonsed for violation of abuse prevention order, malicious damage to motor vehicle and threatening to commit a crime.
1:23 a.m. Caller from Prospect Street reports that a male carrying a cane knocked on their door and asked for money. Caller reports same male is now walking to other houses. Police respond and found the suspect at the Hess station and he admitted looking for money. Police told him to stop knocking on people’s door and he stated he would go home.
3:40 a.m. On Belmont Avenue reports of a white 1995 Acura CP Integra on fire by the playground in the middle of the street and fire responds. Stoughton PD reported later that vehicle was stolen.
3:55 a.m. Caller from Oak Lane reports that females stole about $500 from him. Caller was unable to provide any information on the female suspects or the escort company they supposedly worked for.
5:16 a.m. Caller reports seeing three males dressed in black and broke into Saab’s Foodmart, 1280 Main St. They went behind the counter and took merchandise, exited the store and went by way of the rear of Charlie Chan’s. Police respond and report taken.
7:46 a.m. Recovered 1997 Honda CP Civic from the area of 11 View Road. Steering column damaged and vehicle towed.
7:47 a.m. Caller from 195 Westgate Dr. reports that his car window was smashed and his GPS was stolen. Police report taken.
8:47 a.m. Caller from St.Theresa’s, 343 North Main St. would like a male taken off the property who has been continuously drinking on the property and is inebriated. Police and ambulance respond and male transported to Brockton Hospital ER.
8:58 a.m. Parking violation on Falmouth Avenue. Car parked on sidewalk in wrong direction. Citation-warning issued.
9:05 a.m. Parking violation on Falmouth Avenue. Different car parked on sidewalk. Citation/Warning issued.
9:13 a.m. Multiple citations issued for cars parked on sidewalk on Falmouth Avenue.
9:38 a.m. Caller from Hillberg Avenue reports someone threw a pumpkin on the car’s trunk causing damage to it. Police report taken.
10:19 a.m. Reports of a pitbull being hit by a car at the 140 block of Torrey Street.
10:47 a.m. Caller from Farrington Street reports her boyfriend allegedly stole money from her and punched her in the face. Carlos Daveiga, 20, of Brockton was summonsed for assault and battery and larceny under $250. Alcione V. Nascimento, 29, of Brockton was summonsed for assault with a dangerous weapon and larceny under $250.
10:57 a.m. Reports of a squatter in a vacant house on Grove Street. Police investigate and no persons inside, but found signs of recent activity including alcohol and sleeping belongings inside.
11:41 a.m. A caller near or at 2074 Main St. caller reports their car was just hit in the parking lot and the other vehicle took off. Police report taken.
12:34 p.m. Warren Avenue and Highland Street reports three parties drinking in public. Police respond and investigate. Beer dumped out and parties moved along.
1:10 p.m. Reports of an unconscious party on bench in park at Montello Street and 31 Plain Street. Party transported to Highpoint for detox.
1:40 p.m. Motor vehicle Stop at 600 block, North Montello Street. Michael Pratti, 50, of West Bridgewater was charged with operating a MV with a suspended license, unregistered MV, uninsured MV and default on a warrant.
2:49 p.m. Motor vehicle stop at 199 Crescent Street. Agnaldo S Tavares, 41, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island was charged with unlicensed, unregistered and uninsured operation of a MV, and and attaching plates to MV.
4:03 p.m. Larceny in progress at Brockton Auto Parts, 511 Thatcher Street. Male party in black Pontiac Sunfire just drove off with2 tires and 2 rims. Police report taken.
4:14 p.m. Larceny of a motor vehicle plate on Crescent Street. Police report taken.
5:05 p.m. Reports of suspicious person on Moreland Street. Kenneth James Burke, 24, of Brockton was charged with B&E of building during daytime for a felony, trespassing, disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
5:32 p.m. Reports of a dog that was just hit by a car on Perkins Street. Driver stopped and dog owner is outside screaming at him. Police respond and matter settled.
5:34 p.m. Malicious damage to motor vehicle on Draper Street. Police report taken.
6:22 p.m. MVA involving two cars at 278 North Main St. and 1 Prospect Street. No reported injuries. Police report taken.
6:24 p.m. Larceny investigation on Harvard Street. Report of wheels taken off caller’s trailer. BCI notified and report taken.
6:44 p.m. Larceny report at Summer Street. John Hilliard, 37, of Brockton was summonsed for larceny over $250 and Jennifer Murphy, 34, of Cumberland, RI was summonsed for forgery of check and uttering false order for money.
6:48 p.m. Disturbance at Giannaro’s Package Store, 430 Main Street. Reports of male out front bothering customers for money. Police respond and give trespass warning.
7:40 p.m. Assault and battery investigation at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Assault victim in the ER and has given hospital 3 different names and 2 different addresses so far for himself. He was assaulted somewhere in Brockton and will not elaborate where specifically and will not cooperate with police. No visible injuries. Hospital is familiar with patient and states he is a possible narcotics seeker.
8:32 p.m. B&E motor vehicle investigation at Crescent Street and Main Street. Caller on 2nd floor of parking garage and gray 2005 Camry was broken into. Police report taken.
9:12 p.m. B&E MV investigation on Warren Avenue. Caller reports that motor vehicle was broken into in parking lot of the corner of Warren Ave and Pleasant Street. Police report taken.
9:28 p.m. Larceny investigation at Shaw’s Supermarket, 641 Belmont Street. Reports of a middle-age, heavy set white male, balding, mustache, glasses and wearing a Green Bay Packer jacket just left the store with a hand basket full of meat. Got into a light colored vehicle and fled the scene. Police investigate and license plate supplied by the caller, does not match any active registrations.
9:56 p.m. Larceny of motor vehicle on 175 East Ashland Street. Caller reports that purple 1996 Chevy Cavalier was stolen. Last seen around 3 p.m. Police report taken.
10:02 p.m. Disturbance at Hess Gas, 261 North Main St. Reports of a male on property harassing customers. Police respond and matter settled.
10:29 p.m. Pizza delivery driver was bitten by a dog while delivering a pizza to a North Montello residence. Driver refused medical attention. Driver requested shot record of dog to ensure dog was vaccinated for rabies. Driver referred to Animal Control who can check license and vaccine records for the dog.
