4:51 a.m. Suspicious persons on Country Club Lane. Caller says 2 young kids--both wearing dark hooded sweatshirts--were walking around the area and looking into cars. The caller yelled at them and now on Country Club Drive on foot about to turn right onto Copeland Street. Could not locate them.
5:44 a.m. Larceny in progress on North Main Street in the vicinity of the 197 block. Caller states they were out front waiting for the bus and an older black female that she was just talking to, took her purse and ran inside the house. Stephanie Afonso, 45, of Brockton was charged with unarmed robbery and 2 counts of A&B on a police officer.
