SATURDAY, JANUARY 8, 2011

12:11 a.m. Domestic violence call on Green Street in the vicinity of the 110-115 block. Caller is at the Stop & Gas and states her husband allegedly just choked and beat her up at her house. Caller states he is at the above location and thinks he is drunk. Lincoln Nevers, 55, of Brockton was charged with A&B.

1:35 a.m. Disturbance at Joe Angelo's Cafe & Deli, 11 Crescent Street. Darnell Antoine Upshaw, 28, of Brockton was charged with disorderly conduct and A&B.

2:41 a.m. Assault & battery investigation on Vine Street in the vicinity of the 80-84block. Caller states her friend just allegedly hit her in the face and states he is drunk and just left in his car. Johnson Magachi Wachira, 60, of Brockton was summonsed for A&B and intimidation of a witness.

3:30 a.m. Suspicious Person at Chapel of Our Savior, 475 Westgate Drive. Caller states there is a male on the fire escape talking through his window about a baby. Caller believes the male is drunk. Gave the male some Chinese food and in exchange he promised not to wake these people again.

4:52 a.m. MV accident with property damage on Winter Street in the vicinity of the 140-150 block. Caller states that an alleged drunk driver hit his fence and the caller is in front of a residence on Winter Street. Jose Nunes DaSilva, 35, of Brockton was summonsed for negligent operation of a motor vehicle, tire tread depth violation and leaving the scene of property damage.
7:23 a.m. Unwanted guest disturbance at Chapel of Our Saviour, 475 Westgate Drive. Male party is back at above location and he now has a bat and has moved the Christmas decorations out front all over the place. Party taken to Good Samaritan for evaluation.

7:54 a.m. Larceny investigation on Market Street in the vicinity of the 140-150 block. All 4 tires stolen from car. BCI notified.

9:46 a.m. B&E investigation on Riverview Street in the vicinity of the 120-130 block. Came in through basement window and laptop taken. Happened sometime this week and just notified.

12:11 p.m. MV accident with pedestrian at 142 Commercial Street & 162 Centre St. Wheelchair hit and police report taken.

3:10 p.m. Larceny and Forgery call-Planet Petroleum, 697 Centre Street. Hani Al-Shamani, 44, of Windham, Maine was summonsed for larceny over $250 and forgery of document.

5:07 p.m. Malicious damage investigation on Leyden Street. Two white teen males shot up a house with pellet guns and took off heading toward Riverview St. One had on a gray hoodie and the other a black hoodie.

5:09 p.m. Domestic violence call on Crescent Street. Tayla Bloom, 20, of Mattapan was summonsed for 2 counts of A&B and malicious destruction of property under $250. (NOTE:Tayla Bloom has contacted BrocktonPost.com and claims the charges were erroneous and have been dismissed. BrocktonPost.com has not received documentation as of yet to prove the charges were dismissed 4/7/2011)
5:31 p.m. Domestic violence call on Carrlyn Road. John Derocha, 44, of Brockton was charged with A&B.

5:53 p.m. Domestic violence call on Forest Street. Caller states boyfriend allegedly just hit her and states he is walking down the street. Nackian Kevin Kennedy, 25, of Brockton was charged with 2 counts of A&B.

11:50 p.m. Malicious damage to motor vehicle at Westgate Lanes, Westgate Drive. Car windows smashed and tires were slashed.
