THURSDAY, JANUARY 20, 2011

12:48 a.m. Disturbance by a family, Copeland Street. Caller states his cousin is trying to take his laptop because he owes him $10 and they are arguing. Party left prior to arrival. Matter settled.

3:13 a.m. Motor vehicle blocking the driveway, Carl Avenue. Caller is trying to go to work, but car is parked at end of her driveway. Caller states two people are in the motor vehicle. Subject ran out of gas. Lynch’s Towing called.

8:20 a.m. 911 emergency unknown, N. Main Street. Caller states there is a white female in her early 20s wearing a black jacket and blue pants standing in front of a building and yelling and screaming. Unknown what is going on. Matter settled.

9:20 a.m. Suspicious motor vehicle, Legion Parkway. Person rolling a marijuana cigarette and a small amount of prescription medication—ibuprofen—found and destroyed.

9:58 a.m. Domestic violence call, Ash Street. Caller states on 911 that his wife allegedly punched him in the face and pushed him. He is outside and she is inside the house. Police charged Luis Carlos Pires, 23, of Brockton with violation of an abuse prevention order. Also charged was Emanuella DePina, 30, with assault and battery.

10:02 a.m. Check property, Ash Street. Mutual service call from West Bridgewater who are looking for a particular vehicle allegedly involved in an A&B with a dangerous weapon—a knife—at Big Lots in W. Bridgewater. Suspects are two white males with one wearing a black hoodie and the other is wearing a tan jacket. Parties left out the back entrance and headed toward Copeland Street. Police spoke with the car’s owner and the woman said she lent the car to her son about 15 minutes prior to police’s arrival. Woman called son and told him to call W. Bridgewater Police.

10:44 a.m. Suicide attempted, Albert Street. Caller’s boyfriend is bipolar but not on meds. He is a white male with red facial hair and long ponytail. He is wearing a brown sweater, gray hat and jeans and has a knife. Walking on foot toward Sawtelle. Has cut himself. Police report taken.

4:50 p.m. Disturbance by a drunk, Rent-a-Center, 736 Crescent St. Caller states there are three males—two white and one black—in the rear of the store drinking and being very loud. Parties moved.

5:21 p.m. Malicious damage investigation, Greentree Boys, 494 Copeland St. Caller states a 14-year-old boy punched and broke a window in the staff office but refused police until a second call when it was stated the 14-year-old boy grabbed a hot pan of food and threw it at a person and then he ran towards a 4-month pregnant woman. Caller states the 14-year-old is a big kid and it keeps escalating. Police charged a 14-year-old boy with malicious destruction of property under $250 and A&B with a dangerous weapon.

5:32 p.m. Disturbance call, HighPoint, 20 Meadow Brook Road. Caller states they are trying to get their sister into detox and she is yelling, fighting and pulled out a needle. A woman was taken to Brockton Hospital for evaluation.

6:57 p.m. Keep the Peace, Elm Avenue. Caller states landlord is playing with the heat and refuses to put the heat on. Caller states she is freezing. Upon investigation officer talked to landlord who said heat runs off one tank on the first floor and is set at 70 degrees. Caller from second floor showed police her bare feet and stated she needed to keep her feet warm. Police report caller was rude and did not feel officer was helping her at all. Possible issues. Officer reports the apartment was warm when visited.

8:32 p.m. A&B with a dangerous weapon, Giannaros Package Store, 430 Main St. Party walked up with a stab wound to the leg outside the store. Investigation of injury at 446 Main St.

8:48 p.m. A&B with a dangerous weapon, Brockton Hospital, 680 Centre St. Possible 27-year-old male with gunshot wound to the right arm at Brockton Hospital ER. Unknown where it took place.

10:41 p.m. Disturbance, 24 Riverside Ave., floor 1. Male party called and sounded very drunk. Female got on the phone and stated they were calling on each other. Another female in the background laughing. Caller states she wants the two drunk parties out of the apartment by tomorrow. Matter settled.

11 p.m. A&B in progress. Emmet Street. Three on 1. All males. Matter settled.
