12:55 a.m. Tammy Ann Hall, 39, 33 N. Hollywood Ave., Daytona, Florida, was charged with assault and battery after a caller from the Brockton Fairgrounds reported his girlfriend choked him.

1:02 a.m. Dennis Early, 32, 968 Warren Ave., Brockton was charged with two counts of larceny of a drug, assault and battery and threat to commit a crime after a domestic violence call from Warren Avene.

1:09 a.m. Christopher Tracey, 28, 28 Beaver St., Whitman was charged with drunk driving and negligent operation of a vehicle after a two-car accident on N. Quincy Street.

9:12 a.m. Alvin W. Jennings, 35, 22 Tilton Ave., Brockton was charged with two counts of assault and battery after a Chatham West resident reported he slapped her across the face.

11:05 a.m. Chirlcy Joachim, 20, 135 Market St., Brockton was charged with driving with a suspended license after a call for a suspicious motorist near W. Chestnut Street and French Avenue.

12:31 p.m. A Lynn Road resident reported finding a machete in his yard. He believes neighbors were trying to break into his shed and dropped the machete when they hopped the fence to leave the yard.
