12:39 a.m. Alctor Goncalves, 30, 99 Wyman St., Brockton was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, defacing the serial number of a firearm, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and witness intimidation after police were called to check Morabeza Restaurant on Main Street.
12:59 a.m. Three Brockton men were charged with malicious damage to a vehicle and disorderly conduct after a caller reported several parties slashing tires near Haverhill and N. Main streets.
Charged were: Joao Monteiro, 24, 1037 Main St.; Tony Goncalves, 21, 31 Walnut St.; and Olavo Moreno, 22, 21 Walnut St.
1:07 a.m. Heder Moniz, 18, 38 Curve St., Brockton was charged with armed robbery, three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and resisting arrest after State Police reported being shot at by suspects near Morabeza Restaurant on Main Street. Police followed the suspects to Exchange Street where police caught with and arrested Moniz. No troopers were hurt in the shooting.
2:25 a.m. John Rodrigues, 20, 49 Hunt St., Brockton was charged with drunk driving, and two counts of marked lanes violations after a traffic stop near Brockton High School on Forest Ave.
7:43 a.m. Gerald Hyatt, 39, 590 N. Montello St., Brockton was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault to murder and assault and battery after Good Samaritan Hospital on N. Pearl Street reported a woman was in the emergency room after an assault at the Super 8 in Brockton.
9:08 a.m. John Lewis, 59, 54 N. Main St., Brockton was charged with drinking in public after a call to check a property near Perkins Park, N. Main Street and Spring Street.
10:49 a.m. Xiomara Rosario, 19, 263 Grove St., Brockton was charged with driving with a suspended registration and uninsured vehicle after a traffic stop on Belmont Street.
11:15 a.m. Jason Castillo, 26, 383 Crescent St., Brockton was charged with possession to distribute a class A substance, usually heroin, drug violation near a school or park, no inspection sticker and driver’s license not in possession after a traffic stop on Ames Street.
7:15 p.m. Meredith Jane Gilmore, 42, 108 Great Hill Dr., Weymouth was charged with two counts of assault and battery after an E. Ashland Street caller reported a possibly drunk female was fighting with everyone and broke a door.
