3:11 a.m. David Gaskill, 24, 51 Market St., Brockton was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery after a caller reported her boyfriend hit her and threw her down the stairs.

8:48 a.m. Everett F. Wells, 62, 97 Laureston St., Brockton was charged with violating city ordinance after a caller reported a man keeps sweeping junk and trash into a storm drain. Police reported Wells said, “if the city will not clean his street, he will.”

8:55 a.m Elizabeth H. Smith, 20, 29 George St., Brockton was charged with driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle after a traffic stop near Lincoln and School streets.

9:46 a.m. Avon Auto Brokers reports a 2004 white Cadillac Seville was stolen sometime during the night.

10:12 a.m. Irlando E. Semedo, 25, 4 Mary Anne Ave., Brockton was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and threat to commit a crime after a disturbance at a hair salon on Liberty Street.

10:32 a.m. Christine M. Banks, 25, 250 Forest Ave., Brockton was charged with driving with a suspended license, refusing to identify self and failure to stop or yield after a traffic stop near Davids Street and Warren Avenue.
