THURSDAY DECEMBER 16, 2010

1:05 a.m. B&E investigation on Pinehurst Avenue. Call came in as a family disturbance. Father came to residence and kicked in door and left in a truck. Father lives at another address. Nasir Alves, 32, of Brockton was summonsed for malicious destruction of property over $250 and breaking and entering/burglary.


8:48 a.m. Malicious damage to motor vehicle on Newbury Street. Caller stated someone broke the windshield arms off vehicle.


10:21 a.m. Check motorist driving erratic on Belmont Street and Manley Street. Reports that car is driving all over the road on Route 24 and is now on Manley Street and turning onto West Chestnut Street. Patricia M. Mutascio, 55, of West Bridgewater was charged with OUI liquor, failure to stop for police and not in possession of registration.


5:01 p.m. Assault with dangerous weapon at the Keith School, 175 Warren Ave. Caller is a teacher and reports a student had a knife pulled on him after school today. Police report taken.


5:09 p.m. Gunshots call in the vicinity of 283 Boylston St. & Moraine Street. 6 gunshots on Moraine Street. Caller states her husband is chasing the shooter on foot. Husband is a white male short wearing a plaid shirt and last seen him turn on Avon Street. Shooter is a male wearing all black, 5'-6"-5'7" and light skinned black/Hispanic wearing a stocking cap took 5-6 shots at 2 other males. One male was hit with non-life threatening injuries and taken to Good Samaritan Hospital. Under police investigation.


7:08 p.m. B&E investigation on Packard Way. Basement windows broken into and 3 laptops, PlayStation 3, Wii, new Timberland boots and shoes and 3 video games stolen.


7:09 p.m. Disturbance by a family at Wendy’s, 1900 Main St. Caller states a white male wearing plaid shirt and jeans was allegedly kicking & yelling at 10-year-old boy. Caller states child was then thrown into a grey Dodge Durango and he has the license plate. Plate comes back to East Bridgewater residence. Brockton Police call East Bridgewater to do a welfare check at this residence and father admits to "dope slaps" to the head and "kicking the child in rear." Child has no visible marks or bruises and child states on a scale of 1-10 incidents were a 2 and 3. Scott Macmurdo, 39, of East Bridgewater was summonsed for assault and cattery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.


7:56 p.m. Caller states their car was shot at with a BB gun across from the Green Light Unisex Beauty Salon, 553 Main St. The BB hit the back windshield. Police report taken.


10:48 p.m. Domestic violence call on Plymouth Street. Reports 2 brothers are allegedly fighting and one is choking the other. Ulewis U. Sylvestre, 21, of Brockton was charged with assault and battery.


11:15 p.m. Domestic violence call from a Breer Circle residence. Caller states that 16-year-old son has been fighting with her all night and hitting her and pulling her hair and she has had enough and wants him out. Juvenile arrest of 16-year-old for assault and battery, unlawful carrying of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.
