12:30 a.m. Francisco Sanchez Libran, 40, of Brockton was summonsed for violation of abuse prevention order, malicious damage to motor vehicle and threatening to commit a crime.
1:23 a.m. Caller from Prospect Street reports that a male carrying a cane knocked on their door and asked for money. Caller reports same male is now walking to other houses. Police respond and found the suspect at the Hess station and he admitted looking for money. Police told him to stop knocking on people’s door and he stated he would go home.
3:40 a.m. On Belmont Avenue reports of a white 1995 Acura CP Integra on fire by the playground in the middle of the street and fire responds. Stoughton PD reported later that vehicle was stolen.

2:44 a.m. Hit and run investigation at 692 North Main St. and Ames Street. Caller reports that a white truck hit his MV. Jose Pontes, 52, of Holbrook was charged with OUI liquor, leaving the scene of an accident and violation of motor vehicle rules and regulations.
4:16 a.m. A Laureston Street caller reports her ex-boyfriend is outside walking around and has a 209a against him. Jose Lugo Sepulveda, 26, of Brockton was summonsed for violation of an abuse prevention order and malicious damage to a motor vehicle. 8:37 a.m. 684 Main St., apartment 2s a search warrant was executed and two firearms recovered. Case closed by arrest.
