His mother is concerned suspects may somehow figure out caller’s address and go to the house. Mother would like it if police could check property through the night.
12:47 a.m. B&E in progress. 11 Kingman Ave. Neighbor states she thinks someone is trying to break into her neighbor’s van. She can see someone moving in the van, but cannot make out a description. Police report wife and her neighbor got locked out of her house. Got wife into her house and transported her friend to home. Minivan belongs to wife who lives at above address.
1:41 a.m. Disturbance by a family. 127 Newbury St., Apt. 2. Caller states her sister is throwing her boyfriend’s things out the second floor window. Tatiana B. Tavares, 19, of 81 Walnut St., Apt. 3, Brockton was arrested for two default warrants.
2:52 a.m. Disturbance. 328 Copeland St. Elderly female states she hears someone banging something between houses on the street. States the noise stops when she goes outside and only happens when it rains. Found the noise: rain and drain pipe causing the banging.
4:26 a.m. Fire—structure. 10 Lynn Road. Caller states he just got to his father’s house and there is smoke in the house. Furnace malfunctioned and sent smoke into the house. Fire Department vented. All clear.
6:05 a.m. Disturbance. Popeye’s Chicken & Biscuits. 200 Westgate Dr. More than 10 cruisers dispatched after call about a possibly rowdy crowd from detail officer. Last cruiser leaves location at 10:25 p.m. No arrests made.
6:23 a.m. B&E M/V investigation. Canterbury Arms, 349 N. Pearl St., Apt. 217. Rear parking lot. 2011 Camry. Passenger window, vehicle ransacked. Small items taken.
8:06 a.m. Threats—see the complainant. 96 Grove St. Caller reports someone left a Styrofoam plate at the side of caller’s house. On the plate is a threatening message.
8:07 a.m. B&E investigate. Greentree Home, 659 Summer St. Fire escape, broken window, pipes.
8:16 a.m. Suspicious person. 20 Putnam St. Caller reports a white male wearing a tan shirt is in a parking lot going from car to car trying to get inside them. Caller states he looks drunk and his pants are falling off. “He just don’t look right,” the caller said. Party transported to Brockton Hospital for a medical evaluation.
8:23 a.m. Disturbance. EBLens, 615 Belmont St. Caller reports 50 people out front arguing. Numerous cruisers sent. Peace restored.
8:27 a.m. Accosting, 105 Belair St. Employee was chased by a Hispanic or Cape Verde male in a black SUV on her way to work from home. Male party followed her, exposed himself, and was “shaking it” at her. Report taken.
8:53 a.m. Stalking. School Street. See female in regards to someone stalking her.
8:55 a.m. Assist other agency. 103 Keswick Road. Assist highway with removing a basketball hoop. Highway removed basketball hoops from 103 Keswick Road, 295 Sully Road, and 315 Sully Road—this hoop is damaged.
9:04 a.m. Police officer has a prisoner. 97 Main St. & 89 Church St. Alan Chin, 42, of 15 Belair St., Apt. 12, Brockton was arrested and charged with subsequent offense failure to register as a sex offender.
10:11 a.m. Disturbance. Dunkin’ Donuts, 784 Belmont St. People on foot harassing people in drive thru line. Management states they will handle it. Obama protestors approaching cars coming and going from business. They will call back if they cause a safety or traffic problem.
11:06 a.m. Hit & run investigate. Stop & Shop, 932 N. Montello St. Three cars hit in the parking lot. Manager is pulling video footage.
12:54 p.m. Domestic violence call. 1753 Main St. Caller states she was with her sister driving her to a meeting and her sister allegedly assaulted her with a cane. Caller is in Metro PCS parking lot. Sister was dropped off at her house on Main Street. Caller is refusing medical. Colleen Dale Weir, 53, of 1 Magnolia Dr., Wareham was charged with A&B. Natalie Miller, 54, of 83 N. Main St., Apt. 1E, Brockton was charged with A&B, and A&B with a dangerous weapon.
3:38 p.m. Violation of 209A investigation. 997 Pleasant St. Ilca Pereira, 26, of 15 Lexington St., Apt. 3, Brockton was charged with harassment prevention order violation.
4:52 p.m. Larceny investigation. 8 Berkley St. Victim’s cousin and roommate allegedly stole her ATM card and made $1,105 in unauthorized withdrawals and purchases. ATM photos available and victim will try to get copies of photos from Crescent Credit Union. Jorge Correia, 30, of 8 Berkley St., Apt. 1, Brockton was charged with larceny over $250.
5:26 p.m. Larceny of M/V. 16 Elm Circle. Motorcycle was stolen out of caller’s garage.
5:34 p.m. Suspicious activity. 1069 Main St. & 1 Perkins Ave. Luis H. Silveira, 45, of 102 Winthrop St., Apt. 2, Brockton and Henrique M. Lopes, 37, of 154 Bartlett St., Apt. 2, Brockton were charged with drinking in public.
6:11 p.m. Larceny investigation. 97 E. Ashland St., Apt. 2. Caller states he was going to sell a friend a pair of sneakers and the kid came up to the truck, grabbed the sneakers and took off down the street. Handled the matter in lobby.
6:26 p.m. Violation of 209A investigation. 150 W. Chestnut St., Apt. 2. Woman reports alleged harassment and intimidation by Manuela DePina, who she states has several open cases against DePina. Manuela DeJesus DePina, 24, of 130 Algonquin St., Brockton was charged with violating an abuse prevention order and intimidating a witness.
7:59 p.m. Welfare check. Brockton PD, 7 Commercial St. Natacha Briphile, 385 Westgate Dr., Brockton was charged with abandoning a child under 10.
8:29 p.m. Robbery. 1018 Warren Ave. Caller states her sister’s boyfriend went to the store and was stabbed in the head. Caller states he drove himself to the above location. No suspects at this time.
8:59 p.m. A&B with a dangerous weapon. Brockton Hospital, 680 Centre St. Caller states female just brought in a male party with a gunshot wound to the lower back. Stated they were walking on Warren Avenue when shot. No further information. Categorized as unfounded.
9:06 p.m. A&B dangerous weapon—gun. Good Samaritan Medical Center, 235 N. Pearl St. Male party presented with spinal gunshot. Patient will be transferred to an unknown hospital. Victim stated to be Tony Goncalves, a 23-year-old male.
9:46 p.m. Unwanted guest drunk. Brockton Hospital, 680 Centre St. Drunk female has been medically cleared and is refusing to leave ER. Is causing a disturbance. Female transported to Mainspring.
10:43 p.m. Larceny investigation. Macy’s, 200 Westgate Dr. Male party ran out of the store with a Kerig. Got into a white Rodeo.
11:34 p.m. Larceny investigation. Macy’s, 200 Westgate Dr. Security states male party is trying to return merchandise that was just taken. Second call. White male and female just walked out of the store with a pile of clothes. Left in a black Honda. License plate # given to PD.
